The Jayflyer Community was built in the age of AI.
Older forums make you type keywords into a search box and dig. Here, the plan is AI search and a chatbot. Someone asks "Can I use my Cobalt card in Korea?" and the answer comes from posts you wrote.
For that to work, posts just need a little structure. What's easy for people to read is easy for AI to read too.
(Right now search only covers titles. AI search and the chatbot are in the works, and posting opens to members soon. Everything below applies to comments too.)
1. Write a detailed title
Someone should know what your post is about from the title alone.

2. Use this format for DPs
A DP (data point) is a record of "I tried this, and here's what happened." Dates and numbers let AI tell how current the info is.

You don't have to fill in everything. Just what you know.
3. Three things when you ask a question
- What you ultimately want (say, a family of three flying to Korea and back in February, business class)
- What you have (points, cards, status)
- What you've already looked into (posts you read, where you got stuck)
4. Put the outcome at the top of the original post
When something's still in progress, add a line at the top once you hear back, like "Update: September 30, approved." Keeping it all in one post beats starting a new one, for people and for AI. My Korean residence card post (in Korean) works that way.
5. Pick the right category
It makes your post easier to find for the next person with the same question.
6. Last check before you post
- Can someone tell what it's about from the title alone?
- Is a name, booking reference, or barcode showing in your screenshots?
- Did you include dates and numbers?
